APWG AGM and Discussion: on the Impact of AI for Writers

The All-Party Parliamentary Writers Group meeting, our first of the year, took place in April.

It combined our Annual General Meeting with a Discussion: on the Impact of AI for Writers

Note that the room for this has changed from:

Room O to Room Q still in Portcullis House, at 1pm, Tuesday 25th April 2023

Talk scheduled start time: 1:30pm

Following the short AGM and officer elections; we will then be joined by AI expert, Tom Chatfield for a talk on the proliferation of machine learning technologies and how AI advances will affect writers and the creative sector from 1:30pm.

We are really excited to be able to secure Tom for this talk who has advised Meta, Alphabet and others in the space, on the moral and logical philosophy of these advances; and look forward to seeing you at this AGM and what promises to be a fascinating discussion.

Notices and minutes will be shared with members and here following the meeting.

Please RSVP to jonathan.england@alcs.co.uk by 21st April 2023 and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch.
